SHORT PROFILE

Dr. phil. Maria Groinig, B.A. MA, is an educational, social, and human scientist, as well as an author, trainer, speaker, and performance artist. She has a diverse range of research, project, lecture, teaching, leadership, practical and training experiences both within and outside academia and is a founding member of CENTRAC, the Continental European chapter of Global INTRAC. 

In academia, research, teaching, and third mission activities, she has worked at the Institute of Educational Science and Research at the University of Klagenfurt (including reconstructive educational, biographical, and network research; evaluation of violence protection centers) and at the Institute of Social Pedagogy and Organizational Studies at the University of Hildesheim (including Care Leaver Statistics; societal participation, transition, and life course research; reappraisal, intervention, and prevention of sexualized violence). 

In Austria, she completed the psychotherapy preparatory course (ÖGWG), and in Germany, she completed the training to become a Psychodrama Leader (u. S. / ISI Hamburg | DFP / FEPTO), as well as various further trainings in the context of psychotraumatology/-therapy, research, teaching, and organizational development. Additionally, she is a Certified Practitioner in Psychogenealogy and Transgenerational Therapy (Anne Ancelin Schützenberger International School | FEPTO), a (Ecobio-)Psychosocial Counselor (LSB), an Authorized Mountain Hiking Guide (Association of Carinthian Mountain Hiking Guides), and an Expert in the Power of Dignity, focusing on Education, Pedagogy, Health, and Personal Transformation
